Hello ATC Pickleball players,

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July.  I think the pickleball community is definitely heating up around here...weather not included.  I hope to see you all out here this month.  We are moving some activities around to try and balance play out here and promote more participation on the courts.  Please check out the upcoming programs, events, and activites below.  This summer we will be trying to get as many new players into the game as possible so if you know of anyone you would like to gently nudge towards pickleball send them our way.

ATPC July Pickleball Events

Free Intro Pickleball Clinics on Sunday 

If you or anyone you know would like to learn to play Pickleball, the Austin Tennis & Pickleball Center will be hosting a series of FREE Intro Pickleball Clinics the entire month of July.  This clinic will introduce the basics of serving, volleying, change of pace, and score keeping.  Class size is limited to 8 players so RSVP.

Days/Times:    Sunday July 8, 15, 22,29, 2018     11:30am-12:30pm

Friday Night Level 2 Pickleball League 

The ATPC is moving the Level 2 (3.0-3.5) pickleball league to Friday Nights for the Summer from 7-9pm.  This program is a 4-week league designed for players who have either done well in the Level-1 leagues or are self rated Intermediate (3.0-3.5) and want to compete with others who are interested in the game.  

Days/Times:    Session I Friday July 13,20,27,Aug. 3, 2018     7-9pm

                      Session II Friday Aug 10,17,24,31, 2018         7-9pm

Cost:              $32.00/Session

RSVP: Call 512-928-8119 or email pickleball@playatctennis.com by July 9 for Session I and Aug. 6 for Session II to participate.

Saturday Morning Competitive Open Play

Join us for a day of competitive pick-up Pickleball play here at the Austin Tennis & Pickleball Center.  Players come out a simply pick up games with other players.  We will set aside 5 courts from 9am-2pm the keep the game going.  We have started a weekly email RSVP to help players know who is coming out for this activity.  Players who respond to the email will be added to the Saturday RSVP list and that list is sent out to those players on the weekly email.  If you do not recieve the weekly email and would like to recieve it,please email pickleball@playatctennis.com and request to be added.   RSVP by Friday 6pm. 

Cost:  $3.00 / Player

When: Saturday Mornings 9am-2pm

Sunday Morning Recreational Open Play

Join us for a day of recreational pick-up Pickleball play here at the Austin Tennis & Pickleball Center.  Players come out a simply pick up games with other players.  We will set aside 5 courts from 10am-2pm the keep the game going.  Last Sunday was rainny and this sunday is looking grey but who listens to the stinkin forecast anyways.  RSVP by Saturday 6pm. 

Cost:  $3.00 / Player

When: Sunday Mornings 10am-2pm
