Team Pickleball

The Austin Pickleball League is a multi-week activity that allows teams of up to 8 participants to play against other teams in a round robin format competition.  You will need to either join an existing team or become a team captain and build a team to compete with.  Teams must have a minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 8 players to participate.  Having a DUPR rating is optional.  However, all players who join a team must create a DUPR account on the "MyDUPR" website and must agree to allow results to be recorded if any of the participants want to do so.

Teams are placed in flights, or groups based on skill levels.  Teams will initially be placed based on the avarage of players DUPR ratings on the team.  Teams without any previouse DUPR ratings will be placed in the lowest flight.  At the end of the season, the two (2) teams with the best results will move to the next flight up, while the two (2) teams with the lowest record will move down a flight.  The remaining teams will either remain in their existing flight or move based on the following season's team participant DUPR average.
